Now under new management!
The Age-Net Pub and Meeting Place - Drew takes
over and starts off with a Name change - he says Pub
Names have traditionally reflected the age we live in,
and this is the age we live in - and not only a name
change but also a complete redecoration.
This is Age-Net's own dedicated drinking section . No doors to open, just click to visit and enjoy......
Wines & Spirits Section
Beer reviews - NEW!
Home Brewing section
Alcohol has been with us since pre history. It has provided an
endless source of pleasure, relief from pain and stress, and an
endless subject of wit and discussion. Of course, it has also been
the ruin of many a good man and woman! Taken in moderation it is
here to be enjoyed and given the average age of Age-Net readers, it
is one of the few things we can all still enjoy in company or on our
own.
Over the next few weeks and months Drew will be extending this section to
include articles on wine & spirits, home brew techniques and
everything related to the gentle art of imbibing.
There is an old West Country ditty - doubtless claimed by other
regions as well, which justifies drinking on the grounds that:-
" If you can't drink when
you're living, how the Heck can you drink when you're dead?"
On that basis, Drew welcomes you to the
Mouse and Keyboard and we
raise our glasses and offer a toast to all in the House.
'Cheers'- 'Here's looking
to you' -'Yam Sing' - 'Slainte' - 'Prost' - 'Salute' - 'Vashi' -
'Joy' - 'Viv' - Yia Mas - 'Nazdrave' - 'Bottoms up' - 'Down the
Hatch' - 'Tervist' - 'Skal' - 'Chia' -
'Here's tae us! Fa's like
us? Damned few and they're a' deid' - 'Slainte Mhath'
If you have a different toast then let us know
HERE
and we will include it!
