Marmite Fingers

Ingredients:

Marmite
Short crust pastry
Mature cheddar cheese, grated

Method:

Roll out pastry into an oblong shape. Spread half with marmite and sprinkle grated cheese on top. Fold in half and press down lightly. Cut into shapes or fingers. Place on a baking tray and bake for 10-15 minutes at 190 degrees C.

This recipe is ideal for using up those left over scraps of pastry. Children love cooking these. If you hate marmite, use lemon curd, left over sweet mincemeat, jam etc.

Don't miss the fun!
