Cheese Straws

 

Ingredients:

100g self-raising flour
Pinch of salt
Pinch of mustard
50g margarine
75 g of cheddar cheese, grated
1 egg beaten

Method:

Sieve the flour, salt and mustard. Rub in margarine. Mix in cheese and add enough of the beaten egg to make a stiff dough. Roll out very thinly and cut into strips. Place on a greased baking tray. Bake I at 180 degrees C for 10-15 minutes. These taste so much better than bought ones and cost much less to make !!
