APPLE GLACE

 

Ingredients:

2 large cooking apples
Sugar
2 meringue halves
Soft vanilla ice-cream

Method:

Stew apples sweetened with the sugar to taste.
Cool stewed apples and then mix in soft ice-cream and crumbled meringue.
Put mixture back in freezer for 20 minutes before serving in tall glasses decorated with a sprig of mint.
To make this a richer dish, add whipped cream either in the apple and ice-cream mixture or serve with thick cream or creme fraiche.
