Chocolate and banana Cookies

Ingredients:

225g plain flour
100g soft light brown sugar
100g butter or hard margarine, cubed
1 egg yolk
1tbsp milk
100g plain chocolate chips
75g honeyed banana chips

Method:

Preheat the oven to 200C. Sift the flour into a bowl and add sugar. Stir to mix. Add butter and rub into the flour until the mixture resembles coarse breadcrumbs. Add the remaining ingredients and stir well to form a rough, yet soft dough. Divide the mixture into 10 and place well spaced apart on to a baking sheet and press down with a fork to flatten slightly. Bake in the preheated oven for 12015 minutes until lightly golden. Remove from the oven and leave to cool for 5 minutes. Carefully remove with a palette knife and place on wire rack to cool. Serve warm or cold. These biscuits will keep in an airtight tin for 7 days, but I bet they don’t last 7 minutes !!!
