The Martin Bamford Column

Age-Net is delighted to have Martin Bamford join us with his monthly syndicated column. Martin is one of the country's leading Independent Financial Advisers and director of Award-wining IFA Informed Choice. After graduating with honours in Business Administration, Martin discovered financial planning and was awarded a directorship of Informed Choice in 2002.

Highly qualified, Martin is an Associate of the Personal Finance Society and an Associate of the Institute of Financial Planning. And at just 27 years old Martin already holds the Advanced Financial Planning Certificate from the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).

Martin is no stranger to the media, and is a regular columnist for Professional Adviser and resident contributor on IFAonline.co.uk. He has also been quoted in the national press, including The Observer, The Telegraph, The Times and The Independent and is a regular guest on the Anna Raeburn show on London's LBC Radio 97.3FM.

Martin is also the author of the highly acclaimed "The Money Tree" which was chosen as WH Smith's Business Book of the Month in October 2006.

His quality of service and reputation is recognised nationwide and Martin was named one of the top 50 most influential IFA's in Britain by Professional Adviser in 2006 and has been nominated as IFA Personality of the year at the Professional Adviser Awards 2007.

Martin can provide advice on wide range of personal finance issues including retirement planning, investment, protection, mortgages, care fees planning, pensions, estate planning, divorce and trustee investments, as well as industry comment on trends and government legislation.

Publication of product or financial information by Age-Net does not represent a recommendation or endorsement of any kind. We would stress that every financial package or offer represents some measure of financial risk and we strongly advocate that you seek professional advice before entering into any contract.
Remember that the value of any investment can fall and you should never invest more than you can afford to lose on any speculative 'high risk' business venture or opportunity.
