Honey and Sesame Chicken

 

Ingredients:

450g/11b skinless chicken breast fillets
2 tbsp dark soy sauce
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp sesame seeds
1 bunch spring onions, trimmed
1 tbsp vegetable oil
Small piece root ginger, grated
2 garlic cloves, chopped
150g/5oz mangetout, trimmed
1 red chilli, sliced
Fine egg noodles

 

Method:

Thinly slice the chicken. Mix with the soya sauce, honey and sesame seeds. Cut the spring onions in half lengthways, then into 10cm/3 in lengths.. Heat oil in wok. Add the chicken, keep the marinade. Stir-fry for 6-8 minutes until crisp and brown. Add ginger, garlic, spring onions, mangetout, chilli, marinade and 4tbsp water. Stir- fry for 3-4 minutes until tender. Serve with the noodles.
