APPLE GLACE

 

Ingredients:

2 large cooking apples
Sugar
2 meringue halves
Soft vanilla icecream

Method:

Stew apples sweetened with the sugar to taste.
Cool stewed apples and then mix in soft icecream and crumbled meringue.
Put mixture back in freezer for 20 minutes before serving in tall glasses decorated with a sprig of mint.
To make this a richer dish, add whipped cream either in the apple and icecream mixture or serve with thick cream or creme fraiche.
