Gardening

Gardener's Diary is a regular feature of Age-Net run by our Deputy Editor

Rosemary Martin

Introduction

I have been gardening now as a hobby for about thirty years, but have no formal training.. I don't have a favourite style of gardening, traditional is nice, but I think some of the modern trends also work well.

This column adds a new dimension to my interest in all aspects of horticulture and will hopefully help others find pleasure in this healthy and therapeutic pastime.

For those of you that have never dabbled in the "black art" of gardening you will first need to get some basic knowledge from a good gardening book.

Please e-mail me with your garden problems, comments, or ideas for this section of Age-Net
