Rattlesnake Remedy

Released: May 1 st 2006 Label: B.E.M. Cat #: BEMCDS001

Putting the sleaze, the tease and the downright dirty deeds back into live music, Rattlesnake Remedy are THE must-see rock act of 2006. May 1st sees the release of Drag You Down , their astounding debut single!

Not since Axl Rose banned Slash and the rest of the G'n'R guys from playing their own gigs has such a formidable fivepiece taken to the stage. From the rock-solid rhythm of Dave Ballard (Drums) and Matt Birch (Bass) to the impossibly tight twin Les Paul stylings of Ben Bartlett and Mark Buckler, Rattlesnake Remedy are one of those rare bands who sound as together onstage as they do on record; and in Lee Stone they have a frontman with the growl of Bon Scott, the range of Justin Hawkins and the raw magnetism of Mick Jagger back in his heyday (that's not forgetting harmonica skills to rival Mick's, too!).

Besides some of the finest blues-rock anthems this side of Jimi, what sets Rattlesnake Remedy apart from their nearest rivals is a lifestyle to match the music. While groups galore play two or three gigs each week between shifts at their local Tesco's – and some even do the white-collar 9-to-5 thing – all five Remedy boys have signed up entirely to the rock'n'roll dream: any night that they're not rocking a stage like their lives depend on it, you'll find them in the studio perfecting their art, guest-appearing on late-night radio shows, or entertaining their fans (and themselves!) in ways that can't be detailed here…
