Norah Jones – Remixed!

The Peter Malick Group Feat. Norah Jones

New York City: The Chill Album - Released 30th January 2006 on Universal Music

Eight Exquisite Remixes by DJ Strobe Featuring Vocals From The Grammy Award-Winning Queen Of Soulful Jazz

Norah Jones is set to seduce the post-club crowd with her soothing, sultry vocals, set to rippling, smooth beats! One of the most respected names in dance music production - DJ Strobe – has remixed 8 tracks originally recorded by Norah with the Peter Malick Group prior to her multi-platinum debut release.

This new album from Universal Music, ‘New York City: The Chill Album,’ ably demonstrates the versatility of Norah Jones’ vocal ability with eight new laid-back electonica remixes. DJ Strobe is renowned for his remix work for such respected artists as Missy Elliot, Salt N’ Pepper, Toni Braxton and Leftfield. On ‘New York City: The Chill Album,’ Strobe brings a funky ambient tone to his reworking of “New York City” (“Brooklyn Broken Beat” Remix feat. Split Vizionz) and a haunting, Latin groove to his Bossa Nova remix of the popular track “Strange Transmission.”
