Shot in Hi Definition, the DVD captures the Eagles' sold out November
2004 Melbourne, Australian concerts from their historic Farewell I tour
and features the Eagles performing almost three hours of classic hits
and the debut of two new tracks.
Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Joe Walsh, and Timothy B. Schmit, perform 28
songs from the band's six studio albums including hits "Peaceful
Easy Feeling," "Already Gone," "Tequila Sunrise,"
"Life In The Fastlane," "Hotel California" and "Desperado,"
and two new tracks-"One Day At A Time" by Walsh and "No
More Cloudy Days" by Frey. The DVD also includes rare, behind-the-scenes
footage, interviews and sound check performances.
Inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1998, the Eagles
have scored four Grammy Awards. Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975 has sold
more than 28 million units and remains the best selling album of all
time, while Hotel California and Their Greatest Hits Volume 2 have sold

Warner Music celebrate the Eagles 'Farewell 1' tour
this summer with the release of 'The Complete Greatest Hits', a 33-track
double CD featuring all their greatest hits on June 12. The Eagles albums
are also released in card sleeve, vinyl replica CDs on April 24 and
on vinyl on May 15. A double DVD, 'Eagles Farewell 1 Tour - Live From
Melbourne' is released on June 12.

The Eagles have sold over 120 million albums worldwide, won four Grammy
Awards, had five No.1 albums and five No.1 singles in the US and countless
SRO world tours.
The Eagles Their Greatest Hits 1971 - 1975 album, with US sales in
excess of 29 million units, remains the best selling album of all time.
In 2005 the Eagles had the 2nd highest grossing US tour of the year
The "California Tour" comprised of 27 concerts solely in
the Golden State, kicked of in August 2005 and included record-breaking12
sold-out concerts in the Los Angeles area. In June 2005, the band released
their Eagles Farewell I Tour - Live From Melbourne DVD and by August
is certified 10x Platinum in the US.
The Eagles "Farewell I" special aired on NBC-TV on June 1,
2005, scoring NBC's highest rating among 18-49 year olds and overall
viewers total in the time period.
The 2005 Eagles' "Farewell I" spring tour included six sold-out
concerts in New York, and is ranked as the top-grossing tour of the
year in July of 2005.
The 2004 "Farewell I" tour kicked off May with concerts in
the U.S., Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Japan, and Australia,
including five sold-out concerts in Melbourne Australia.

The 2003 "Farewell I" tour kicked off in May, performed in
48 U.S. cities, and was the third highest grossing tour of the year.
In 2003 the Eagles release "Hole In The World," on their
ERC record imprint. "Hole in the World" receives a Grammy
nomination and becomes one of 2003's best selling American singles.
The Eagles are inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1998,
their first year of eligibility.
In the 18 months between December 1976 and June 1978, the Eagles sold
more than 18 million units of Their Greatest Hits 1971 - 1975 and Hotel
California.
The Eagles are the only recording artists in musical history to have
three albums that have sold more than ten million units. Their Greatest
Hits 1971 - 1975 is the first Platinum album ever awarded by the RIAA
and the best selling album of all time in the United States. Hotel California
and Greatest Hits 2 have sold more than 16 million and 11 million copies
respectively in the United States. Each of the band's other albums also
surpassed the one million mark. The Eagles' catalogue consistently sells
more than 1.5 million records annually.
1975: The Eagles release their fourth album, One of These Nights (Asylum),
which becomes the band's first Billboard No. 1. The set features the
singles "Lyin' Eyes" and the title track, which reach No.
2 and No. 1, respectively, on Billboard's Hot 100.
One of These Nights is the first of five No. 1 albums from the quintessential
1970s California-based rock band. The year 1976 brought two -- Hotel
California and Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975 -- and in 1979 The Long
Run reached the summit. It would be another 15 years before the band
hit the top of the Billboard album tally again with the reunion album
1994 Hell Freezes Over (Geffen).

Common Thread: The Songs
Of The Eagles, a compilation of Eagles songs performed by Nashville
artists released in October 1993, has sold more than five million units
and was awarded the Country Music Association's Album of The Year Award
in 1994. A portion of its royalties benefits the Walden Woods Project,
which was founded by Don Henley in 1990 to help protect the woodland
area surrounding Henry David Thoreau's Walden Pond.
