Beginning as a sketch on the classic comedy show "Saturday Night Live", John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd's Jake and Elwood Blues soon became a worldwide phenomenon, introducing a generation to the blues and soul sound with their spirited renditions of classic soul hits. Dressed in sharp black suits, skinny ties, dark glasses and fedoras, The Blues Brothers were stars in their own right. Their debut live album "Briefcase Full Of Blues" was an over-night success and quickly went platinum.

Following their triumphant record sales, the duo went on tour to promote their feature length movie "The Blues Brothers" - a classic to this day with cameo appearances from Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, Chaka Khan and many more, with a soundtrack recently voted best film soundtrack ever by BBC 6 Music.
