British rockers announce the XS All Areas album, tour and book plus NEW SINGLE

2004 is without question the year of Quo. Autumn sees the seminal British rock band unleash "XS All Areas" - the name of a fantastic greatest hits package, a searingly frank autobiography and that of a mammoth forty date UK tour (see below).

20 September sees the release of "XS All Areas" through Universal Music TV. An essential collection of over forty of the band's finest moments, hits are taken from every stage of their illustrious career from "Pictures Of Matchstick Men" (1968) to "Jam Side Down" (2002). The album also features some exclusive brand new material in the shape of two brand new tracks "You'll Come 'Round", the new single which is released on 13 September and "Thinking Of You".

Tickets are now on sale for the forty date "XS All Areas" tour of Britain, which is sponsored by Nestle's Drifter. Tickets for all gigs are priced at between £26.50 and £28 and can be obtained from the numbers below or the Ticketmaster hotline 0870 400 0688 or online by going to www.cclive.co.uk. Last year's tour was a sell-out and Quo's army of fans are sure to be out in force once more for these shows.

Band leaders Francis Rossi and Rick Parfitt are also looking forward to the publication of a joint autobiography with Pan Macmillan for Sidgwick & Jackson. "XS All Areas" is a real rags-to-riches story of the two ordinary boys who went on to worldwide fame. A no-holds-barred insight into the amazing lives of two of British music's living legends, this is one of the most honest and open rock autobiographies ever. The book has been put together with rock journalist Mick Wall and will be published on 17 September 2004.

This hugely influential and record breaking band never stops working and it looks like 2004 could be their most hectic year yet. "XS All Areas"? Says it all really!
