TELL IT LIKE IT IS!

The hair in my ears each day grows longer

While the hairs on my head have left

Just like rats deserting a ship.

My get up and go has definitely gone

My libido has sunk without trace.

My belly is about where my knees should be

And

It is years since I last saw my knees.

My skin resembles sandpaper

Not the best grade you can buy.

I have age spots, skin tags and lumps

My muscles are now just bumps.

I am not growing old very gracefully

But the truth is, I am growing old.

If I keep on this way

One fine day,

I will find myself, bald, old and dead cold.

Now that’s not a happy thought!

Peter Wright (at 67 I am still a mere stripling)

Don't miss the fun!
