LADY ARANEIDA OF ARACHNIDS

One tiny chandelier, sways gently in the breeze
A million diamonds, sparkle light into the air.Unsuspecting tiny insect attracted by the dew
Moves even closer to a certain death.
Within the depths of beauty, lurks danger.
Lady Araneida of Arachnids awaits her dinner,
The prey to hang suspended,
A royal banquet for a future time.
Black lady does her dance macabre,
Covering her death’s head with a filmy veil,
Necklace of jewels, cloak of finest silk.
Did you ever see death more beautifully clothed?
