Olive was born in Middlesborough and evacuated to
Malton, North Yorkshire,during the war, later moving to Rugby. She has painted from a very young age and following
the loss of her second husband two years ago,she took a wild life
painting course with London Art College. She is a firm believer
in the therapeutic value of art in all it's forms,
Nowadays, her painting helps supplement her pension and she also
teaches various retired friends who have taken up painting for the
first time.
