Launched in 2000, Age-Net.co.uk is a Google PR 5 web-site, one of the UK's premier ‘Lifestyle’ entertainment and information sites serving a mostly UK based Over 50s community.

We are always happy to discuss Commercial advertising on site and promotional activities are particularly welcome. We no longer issue an overall rate card - our advertising rates are subject to type material and your desired location within the site.

Age-Net rates are surprisingly modest for long term advertising and you may wish to consider us as part of any extended campaign. Most charitable and private member's advertising is accepted without charge.

The Age-Net Publishing Group also owns a number of other Internet websites and can offer advertising space on single sites or across a number of sites at highly advantageous rates.

Useful demographics

In the UK there are 18,000,000 people over the age of 50. Of these, some 4,500,000 have a computer and spend an average of 7 hours each week 'surfing'. A high proportion are in the A1, B1, C1 socio economic sector - home owners with a stable disposable income and strong brand loyalty.

Some 80% of the nation's wealth is controlled by those over the age of 45!
